History

Ruffe Cavaliers was founded in 1996 when we brought home a beautiful tri-color named Gigi. She loved to show for me, and my heart swelled with pride when one judge wrote in her critique "Obviously loves her owner"! We had a great time showing together, but Gi was not successful in the show ring due, in part, to heavy ticking. Nonetheless, I was smitten by the show bug.

Paula Campanozzi was kind enough to let me take Gi to her beautiful boy Luxxar Broadway ("Gizmo"), who is a son of Sheeba Special Edition ("James") and Pascavale Anna ("Anna"), . That breeding produced two sons who were destined for the show ring, Gadget and Gromit. And so it started, a love for Cavaliers that has spanned 17 years and counting.

Gi enriched our lives for over 15 years. We recently lost Gromit just a few months shy of his 15th birthday. Gadget lived to be over 16 years old.
